Welcome to the world of blogging Jessie! It's great to see others take the chance on blogging!-Leslie @KindergartenWorks
I'm a new follower, over from TBA! Best advice I can give is to follow other blogs and comment to their posts with the link to your blog...folks will come!!!(just a little advice from another Bama resident and fan =)JenniferFirst Grade Blue SKies
I am also a recent blogger (created my blog in August) and I feel the same frustration. I've tried to get my blog out through TBA's freebie fridays which definitely gets me viewers. Still having trouble with getting followers though. But, hopefully things will get better eventually! Good luck to you too! :)Pamhttp://www.mswuteach.blogspot.com
I can relate. I'm a new blogger as well (started in October). Follow and communicate with other bloggers leaving your link behind. Check out and participate in linky parties. It helps.?Resource Room Rules
I'm your newest follower and a new blogger myself! Please visit my blg at http://pinkpolkadotsandprek.blogspot.com/Thanks! :)
Nice to see another male elementary teacher...I'm following your blog!
Welcome to blogging. I haven't had the time to put into getting lots of followers yet, even though I've been around since last spring. The things I've noticed that have helped is linky parties and commenting on other blogs. I just started following you and wish you luck.JoellTotally Terrific Teaching
Thanks for the advice Jennifer. What did you think about that game last night? I was screaming at the TV!!! LOL
Hi Jessie,Thanks for hoppin' by my blog and linking up to the Fall Linky Party. I am your newest follower. It is great to see another guy join the blogging world. My advice is to make sure you have a picture with each post, join Pinterest, and pin away! That will get you tons of new blog views. Keep joining Linky parties when you can too! Brian
Thanks Pam! I guess the only thing we can do is to keep putting ourselves out there. I followed you so let's just keep at it. Goodluck!!!
Thanks Jacqui! I did my first linky party today. All this stuff gets kind of confusing, but I think I will get there.
Thanks and I am headed your way now!
Thanks and likewise. We are definately a rare breed! What's the link to your blog and I'll start following you as well?
Thanks Joell. I can definately see where this can be time consuming. I'm headed to your blog now.
Thanks for the advice Brian. I am a member on pinterest but do not use it like I should.
Welcome to blogging Jessie! Can't wait to read your future posts! Here is a link to file away that may help you with learning some of the technical parts of blogging- http://www.teachingblogaddict.com/2011/07/blogging-tips-share.htmlHappy Blogging!
I am new at this too! I find that I get a lot of traffic when I pin my blog posts (with a freebie of course) to pinterest! Of course I found your blog through TBA's post of FB. I am now following your blog! Good firstname.lastname@example.org
Thanks Tamara! I will be checking that link out for sure. One thing that I have noticed so far is that everyone is so nice and supportive. I am learning why they call it a blogging "community."
Hey I tried to open your blog and it didn't work. Suggestions?
Good! Thanks for following me. BTW, there is a way to set it up so that when people click on your name your blog is available. I don't think it's that way now. It will make it a lot easier for people to find you.
For sure!! It was NUTS!!!
Take a look at www.AutismEducators.com. We have been having a lot of traffic BUYING, but not many people listing their activities and lessons since we are a fairly new site. When you go to the site you can click on the link on the front page which takes you to the "Sellers Page". You'll see all of the info there. Happy selling! Thanks!
